We’re looking for experienced, dedicated, reliable and motivated individual with a desire to work within the industry.
You’ll be dealing with customers face to face so a friendly, warm, and welcoming character is a must!
To effectively and efficiently provide consistent and high quality standard customer service to patrons
of the venue whilst maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, in accordance with client’s
requirements and objectives and targets of the Company.
• Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages.
• Provide assistance to customers as required.
• Communicate and liaise with other front of house and kitchen staff to keep up to date on stock
levels.
• Prepare food and beverage areas of the venue for service.
• Communicate with the Banquets Manager or Supervisor on Duty regarding any issues concerning
service.
• Collect glassware, crockery and cutlery and wipe down tables as required.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Undertake and assist with the set up and pack down of conferences and events as required.
• Ensure effective communication and cooperation is achieved and maintained at all levels of the
Company.
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service and handle customer complaints according to
Company guidelines.
• Proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and run assigned tasks.
• Liaison with kitchen staff to ensure the efficient service of food, and the high quality and
presentation of food.
• Ensuring that the venue is well presented for each event.
• Provide regular updates, reviews and reports to the Banquets Manager and Directors as required.
• Reporting of any equipment and/or venue maintenance issues.
• Execute the appropriate strategies to ensure business targets are achieved.
• Represent the Company at internal and external events in a professional manner.
• Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) legislation and requirements.
• Conduct thorough self-checking of work undertaken.
• Undertake general office duties as required.
• Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Banquets Manager,
Supervisor and Directors.
• Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.

Qualifications
• Current RSA Photo Competency Card.
Experience/Skill Level Required
• Previous experience in a customer service / waiter position in the hospitality industry.

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational, prioritisation and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
